Adapazarı Orta Camii, (English Below)
Adapazarı ilçesinde 1750-1752 yılları arasında inşa edilen bu camii, Tarihi Uzun Çarşı’nın Pirinç Pazarı ve Aynalı Kavak Çarşısı arasında yer almaktadır. Hayırsever Devoğlu Hacı Mustafa Ağa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Yapımından bugüne kadar birçok depreme maruz kalmasına rağmen “yaklaşık 3 asra yaklaşan varlığıyla, şehirde hala orijinalliğini koruyan en eski cami özelliğine sahiptir”. İki katlı görünümüyle dikkat çeken tarihi caminin alt katında dükkanlar ve şadırvan bulunmaktadır. Şadırvana su veren büyük bir su haznesi de mevcuttur. Bu su haznesi halen faaldir. Sular kesildiği zaman haznede çarşıya yaklaşık 1 hafta kadar yetecek kadar su bulunmaktadır.
Orta Camii, yaklaşık 271 yıldır tarihin izlerini günümüze taşımaktadır. Camii mimari açıdan incelendiğinde, kare planlı, iki katlı, çatısı kiremitli kaplı bir camidir. Kubbe dışarıdan yoktur içeriden kubbesi var. Cami kagir yapıdır, ancak dış cephe ahşap kaplıdır. Yapıldığı günden bu yana sadeliğinin korunduğu tarihi caminin harim kısmında, müezzin mahfeli, mihrap ve ahşap olan tavan ile süslemeleri halen orijinalliğini korumaktadır. 2015 yılında Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü camiyi tamire almasıyla bugünkü halini almıştır. Camiinin diğer bir özelliği de 1960 yılından beri Ramazan aylarında teravih namazları hatim ile kılınmaktadır.

This mosque, which was built between 1750 and 1752 in Adapazarı district, is located between the Rice Bazaar of the Historical Long Bazaar and Aynalı Kavak Bazaar. It was built by the philanthropist Devoğlu Hacı Mustafa Ağa. Although it has been subjected to many earthquakes since its construction, “it has the feature of the oldest mosque in the city, which still preserves its originality, with its existence approaching nearly 3 centuries”. There are shops and a fountain on the lower floor of the historical mosque, which draws attention with its two-storey appearance. There is also a large water reservoir that supplies water to the fountain. This water reservoir is still active. When the water is cut off, there is enough water in the reservoir to last for about 1 week.
Orta Mosque has been carrying the traces of history for about 271 years. When the mosque is examined in terms of architecture, it is a square planned, two-storey mosque with a tiled roof. There is no dome from the outside, it has a dome from the inside. The mosque is a masonry structure, but the exterior is covered with wood. In the harim section of the historical mosque, where its simplicity has been preserved since the day it was built, the muezzin's chamber, the altar, the wooden ceiling and its decorations still preserve their originality. In 2015, the General Directorate of Foundations took its current form after repairing the mosque. Another feature of the mosque is that since 1960, tarawih prayers have been performed with hatim in Ramadan.
