Here's an example of a "classic" pharmacy in Turkey. I came after my wife gave birth for some medicine she had been prescribed. Although we have National Health Insurance (SGK) covered by my job, this pharmacy tried to make me pay full price for the medicine. When I pointed out that we have SGK, the pharmacist simply said "Are you Syrian or something??" When I told her that she has to use SGK, she told me to find another pharmacy.
