The employees were very nice! Lovely people. Especially Arda and Ramazan at the desk and Guseede in housekeeping. But because of renovations and management change, we had to change our room too many times over our 8 days stay. The turkish breakfast was always excellent!

Çalışanlar çok iyiydi! Hoş insanlar. Özellikle Arda ve Ramazan masada, Guseede ise temizlikte. Ancak yenileme ve yönetim değişikliği nedeniyle 8 günlük konaklamamız boyunca odamızı birçok kez değiştirmek zorunda kaldık. Türk kahvaltısı her zaman mükemmeldi!

I came to this place with high hopes about getting the room that I booked after checking the hotel’s website, but unfortunately after I checked in and paid the money, I was given a different room and that problem wasn’t solved.
I booked a standard room with a “sea view” but the room that was given to me was a first floor room with no sea view(as you can see in the photo it overlooks the restaurant not the sea). I went to the reception right away and I showed the photo to the receptionist and he said, “yes you are right but the other rooms on the top floors with the sea view are fully booked now and there is nothing that I can do.” But I booked a room like them and I paid the money for a sea view room but still I didn’t get what I paid for. On the next day, I talked to another receptionist in the morning and he again agreed that this room we got was incorrect and that they should change it on that same day after a room from the top floor would check out. I left the hotel and came back at night and I asked to do the swap of the room but they had given it to another guest! And the receptionist said, “the difference between the 2 rooms is actually 200 liras per night. I apologize for the inconvenience and I would like to make it up to you by offering you coffee on the house.” I actually appreciate his gesture but I had given hope at that moment. I asked him to change the room to another one, not necessarily with a sea view, but a room that has no issues. You see, the room I was given had a problem with its bathroom faucet. It only dispensed boiling hot water and no cold water! I couldn’t even wash my hands because the water was too hot. Another problem was that the floors in the hotel have no carpets (which is normal in a summer hotel) but the problem is that they didn’t have any disposable hotel slippers. I called the reception and asked for the slippers and he said, “sorry, we ran out of slippers.” And as you know the weather can be windy and dusty during this time of the year so the floors were getting dusty quickly and I had to wear socks or my shoes whenever I was in the room instead of slippers. Then, What about the water problem? “We will try to fix it.” They said. And for my all stay it wasn’t fixed and I had to wash my face in the shower.
All in all, my stay here was disappointing and dissatisfying. I came with high hopes to enjoy my stay in a room that was normally functioning with a sweet sea view, but even though the morning receptionist was kind and said some nice words while checking out, the problems that I lived there were not fixed. However, to be fair, a good thing about the hotel here though is its location and the restaurant across the street that served an included set menu breakfast with a nice view right by the sea.

Otelin internet sitesinden rezervasyon yaptırdığım odayı alacağıma dair büyük umutlarla buraya geldim ama ne yazık ki check-in yapıp parayı ödedikten sonra bana farklı bir oda verildi ve o sorun çözülmedi.
“Deniz manzaralı” standart bir oda ayırttım ama bana verilen oda birinci katta deniz manzarası olmayan bir odaydı (fotoğrafta da görebileceğiniz gibi denize değil restorana bakıyor). Hemen resepsiyona gittim ve fotoğrafı resepsiyon görevlisine gösterdim, “evet haklısın ama üst katlardaki deniz manzaralı diğer odalar şu an tamamen dolu, benim yapabileceğim bir şey yok” dedi. Ama onlar gibi bir oda ayırttım ve deniz manzaralı odanın parasını ödedim ama yine de ödediğimin karşılığını alamadım. Ertesi gün sabah başka bir resepsiyonistle konuştum ve o da aldığımız bu odanın yanlış olduğunu ve aynı gün en üst kattaki bir oda çıkış yaptıktan sonra değiştirmeleri gerektiğini kabul etti. Otelden ayrıldım ve gece geri döndüm ve odayı değiştirmek istedim ama başka bir konuğa vermişler! Resepsiyonist de "İki oda arasındaki fark aslında gecelik 200 lira. Verdiğim rahatsızlıktan dolayı özür dilerim ve size evde kahve ikram ederek bunu telafi etmek isterim" dedi. Aslında jestini takdir ediyorum ama o anda umut vermiştim. Odayı başka bir odayla değiştirmesini istedim, deniz manzaralı olması gerekmiyordu ama sorunu olmayan bir odaydı. Bana verilen odanın banyo musluğunda sorun vardı. Sadece kaynar sıcak su veriyordu, soğuk su vermiyordu! Su çok sıcak olduğu için ellerimi bile yıkayamadım. Bir diğer sorun da otelin zeminlerinde halı olmamasıydı (ki bu yazlık otellerde normaldir), ancak sorun tek kullanımlık otel terliğinin olmamasıydı. Resepsiyonu arayıp terlik istedim, “kusura bakmayın terliğimiz bitti” dedi. Ve bildiğiniz gibi yılın bu döneminde hava rüzgarlı ve tozlu olabiliyor, bu yüzden yerler hızla tozlanıyordu ve odaya girdiğimde terlik yerine çorap veya ayakkabı giymek zorunda kalıyordum. Peki ya su sorunu? "Düzeltmeye çalışacağız." dediler. Kaldığım süre boyunca sorun çözülmedi ve duşta yüzümü yıkamak zorunda kaldım.
Sonuçta, burada kaldığım hayal kırıklığı yarattı ve tatmin edici değildi. Normalde tatlı deniz manzaralı bir odada konaklamamdan keyif alacağımı umarak gelmiştim, ancak sabah resepsiyon görevlisi nazikti ve çıkış sırasında bazı güzel sözler söylemesine rağmen orada yaşadığım sorunlar çözülmedi. Ancak, adil olmak gerekirse, buradaki otel hakkında iyi bir şey, konumu ve caddenin karşısında, deniz kenarında güzel bir manzaraya sahip set menü kahvaltı servis eden restorandır.

The location is perfect. The rooms are tidy and clean. Staff are very good and helpful. But I want to warn you the rooms are not sound-proof. But If you will have a short visit like me I suggest this place vigorously. I would prefer it again.
